I took that one somewhere in Lower Austria back in 2011 and edited it with Snapheal; an excellent healing and retouching app for the Mac.

After Pixelmator for iPad was released, I re-edited the Nikon RAW file with it. I removed a fence, some dirty spots in the grass and a path.

I used the healing brush in Pixelmator for iPad [iTunes App Store Link] to remove that stuff. I was amazed how well the healing brush worked.  It handeled even the granular stuff, like removing the fence in front of the cow. Like with many other healing tools, the key to success is to choose an appropriate size of the healing brush. Here's a before and after image (click to enlarge):
